- Prayer offerings to Kuladeivam are the most important for any important happenings in our lives. Wherever we migrate with our family, the only invaluable heritage for our family is the Kuladievam. It is where our ancestors (Pithrukal) followed in their footsteps. Their souls will reside there.
- As per our tradition, we send the first wedding invitation to our Kuladeivam. Along with the invitation, we can keep an akshathai to receive blessings, and the same can be used for the wedding. Also, a handful of sand from the temple can be taken along, which can be used for panthakal.
- Just like Kuladeivam, every family has an Ishtadeivam. It is also important to follow the same process for Kuladeivam to receive their blessings.
